  2. Execute Bill of Sale: Complete this HSMV 82050 compliant Bill of Sale with Federal Odometer Certification.
  3. Submit to DMV: The buyer presents this form to Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) to pay state vehicle sales tax and complete registration.

Filing Form HSMV 82050 removes the seller from civil liability for the operation of the motor vehicle or vessel subsequent to the sale date.
